Old man stares at the sky – but it was a good day for that, a thick and hot Tuesday afternoon in late August here in Los Angeles. Monsoon moisture was streaming up from the Baja, generating quite curious clouds, so it seemed like a good day to head over to Olive Hill at the forgotten east end of Hollywood Boulevard. Frank Lloyd Wright built his 1921 Hollyhock House on Olive Hill, now also home to the Barnsdall Art Park with its studios and theater, and lots of trees, even olive trees....
