The Cat and the Fiddle shouldn't have been there in the first place. That was the British pub opened by Kim Gardner – one of the founding members of The Birds - in 1982 on Laurel Canyon Boulevard. In 1985 it moved to 6530 Sunset Boulevard – the heart of Hollywood – into the courtyard of a 1923 Spanish Revival mansion.
