Film is dead. Eastman Kodak went bankrupt years ago, and their Hollywood complex, down on Santa Monica Boulevard, has been empty for years now. The little jewel box building out front is from 1929, the year they set up a film-processing and postproduction operation here in Hollywood, to corner the new "talkies" market.
