The Electric Fountain – from 1931 – on the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, one of the busiest intersections in the world, has been restored – made as good as new. The plaza and fountain are the work of the architect Ralph Carlin Flewelling and the sculpture is by Robert Merrell Gage – one sad Indian and many heroic white pioneers.
