It was built in 1926 for the widow of Thomas Ince and designed by Arthur E. Harvey, who also designed the elaborate Château Élysée across the street, now the Scientology Celebrity Center – but Edward G. Robinson once lived at this Villa Carlotta. So did Marion Davies.
